Do I need XWindows installed on the command server?
No, the X Window System is not required.
Can I control the command server from another machine?
Yes, you can control the command server from another machine.
Can I run everything on Linux?
With NovaStor DataCenter, everything can be based on Linux except the VMware proxy, which must currently be based on Windows, along with backup servers that contain backup pools containing VMware or Hyper-V backups.
Can I do cloud backup for Linux?

Can the client installer be installed in text mode?
Yes. Linux systems without graphic support require text mode for installation. The DataCenter client installer has a command line option.
